A Kingsport native, Kathy Martin-Stricker has served the local church leading Children’s Ministries for over 30 years.
She is an ETSU alumni and earned her M. Ed. from Southwest Bible College. She has led several groups on mission trips Nicaragua, Hungary, Africa, New York City, and Thailand, to name a few. Kathy is still active in ministry.

Kathy is still active in ministry. Currently, she serves as Adult Ministry Coordinator at Grace Point Fellowship in Kingsport. She co-teaches a seasonal Bible study for women, assists with Congregational Care, leads women events and organizes activities for GPF’s 55-plus group. Friends describe her as transparent and humorously relatable. She is married to James, and together, they have six children and six grandchildren. Kathy says she could never have imagined the path she is walking today—but knows our God is faithful!
